The degumming process in refining refers to the removal of gelatinsoluble impurities in oil, which mainly contain phospholipid proteins, sugars, resins, and excluded liquids. The main one is phospholipid, phospholipid in the oil will make the oil color dark, cloudy, heat will coking bitter, absorb water to promote oil rancidity, affect the quality of oil. Too much water, easy to form water-oil emulsification phenomenon, difficult to separate.

 

The amount of water added to degumming is related to the gelatine content of the grease and the operating temperature, which can be determined by the sample sample.
